When the rainbow appears…
Rainbow maternity session
If you have been with me for a while, you might remember my dear friends lost their beautiful baby daughter last year just a few short days after her birth. I hear of women losing their precious babies and I can’t wrap my head around it so watching a friend suffer through this unimaginable loss, I started to feel very helpless.
Well, this post is about the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s about a little boy who is already so loved and who will grace us with his presence in less than a week. Of course, any pregnancy is cherished but you can imagine how over the moon we all are about this..!
Both mum and I really wanted to find a way to honour her little girl so it was clear that rainbow would be the theme. A rainbow baby is described by Kicks Count as: “A baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better.”
And you couldn’t get a better helper than this proud big brother..
You have no idea just how lucky you are, little one. You have the best big brother on earth and your big sister is forever watching over you from above.
I will leave you here and let you enjoy what I hope to be a beautiful tribute to your sweet little angel ❤️
