Can I tell you a secret? You and your family are unique- there’s no one else quite like you on this planet. It is all the little things, all the seemingly insignificant details, all the perfectly imperfect quirks- they are the things that make your family special.

And my job? As a Maternity, Newborn and Children’s photographer I get to show it to you. I get to show it in a creative way that you get to keep forever. And this makes me happy. With the huge added bonus that it makes the people I photograph very happy too.

My Vision

I’m a custom Maternity, Newborn and Children’s photographer based in Blairgowrie and my photographs are taken with a mother’s eye and a desire to capture the true personality of your child. Your portraits will be natural and relaxed. They will show the connections and the love between each other and wonderful moments of you just being yourselves. They will tell stories of real lives and real love. My style is relaxed and playful – I always have time for a game of hide and seek. I specialise in newborn and children’s portrait photography because I believe in focusing on doing what makes your heart sing- this is what I love and do best. I work a lot with natural light because it’s the most flattering and helps create photographs that embrace life in it’s natural, untampered beauty.

I’m definitely not the photographer for everyone. You will never hear me tell your child to ‘say cheese’. I believe that the best smile is a real one and sometimes it’s OK not to smile.
